Mountain Bike Adventures meet your Youth Group with a trailer of Hard Tail Mountain Bikes at The Visitors Centre at Brindley Heath ( other meeting points are possible). Groups up to 20 can be accommodated.
Children aged 14 years and over. Instructed by a MIAS qualified leader, Enhanced CRB checked with First Aid Training.
Riders will need waterproof clothing and ideally gloves. Track suit bottoms or shorts in the summer are the best leg gear,baggy trousers would need to be tucked in socks.
A packed lunch, drink and back pack to carry them in (it is possible to arrive back at the trailer for lunch).
A Hard-tail Mountain bike and an approved Helmet will be issued to each participant.
One of our MIAS instructors will take the group through a Health and Safety brief and develop this into an outline of personal skills needed during the days riding. We leave the car-park and join an easy family trail where riders can put into practice what the Instructor has told them. During a gentle ride along the trail we will employ various games to encourage rider confidence.
Interesting features of Cannock Chase will be pointed out to the group during the ride. Themed rides can be accommodated., navigational skills taught.
The activity can be for a whole day or part of a day to meet the groups needs.
All rides are on Cannock Chase bridleways and tracks and can be designed to meet different levels of fitness, mixed ability groups will keep on the easier routes.

Wildlife is also abundant with many types of bird, deer, badgers, fox, snakes, insects and plants so some areas the ride passes through are leisurely for observation and enjoyment of the surroundings, others for the adrenalin rush.
