Payment terms for hire are Card Cash or Cheque made payable to Mountain Bike Adventures.
Mountain Bike Adventures reserve the right to refuse hire cycles to individuals and groups at their own discretion.
Mountain Bike Adventures reserve the right to terminate a hire period without notice or refund.
Mountain Bike Adventures reserve the right to deduct monies from hirers deposits for repairs to damaged cycles returned from hire and to reclaim monies for damage beyond the cost of the deposit on the provision of a traders repair invoice.
Bicycles and equipment hired on a rental agreement remains the property of Mountain Bike Adventures.
Hirers assume liability for all articles hired on completion of the hire agreement
Hirers assume liability for any prosecution or insurance claim arising from their actions whilst in a period of hire.
Unless otherwise stated all hire periods are for one working day 9.00am-5.0pm summer hours and 9.30 5.00 winter hours (not 24 hrs). Cycles not returned after the given hire period will be deemed to remain on hire at an excess premium of £5.50 per hour with an additional collection fee of £10.

A deposit of £50 per bike will be required from private hirers ( not guided tours, education, youth or corporate organisations see **) the deposit will be refunded when the bikes are returned in good order. Note damage beyond normal expected wear and tear will be deducted from the £50 deposit, willful damage in excess of £50 will be charged to the hirer.
Deposits taken on advance hire bookings will not be returned in the event of the customer not arriving or if they cancel after 14 days from making the booking.
Waiting time may be charged to late customers or additional delivery costs.
Customers taking an hourly rental option must deposit £50.00 in cash and their driving Licence. The three hour basic time scale will start at 2.00 pm , any additional time will be charged at £2.80 per 15 minute period for Hardtail bikes and £3.40 per 15 minute period for Full Sus Bikes. This will be charged for up to three fifteen minute periods. At this point the hourly fee will be reverted to for the first additional hour, above the first three hour period. This formula will be applied until the bike is returned.
A charge of 2% will be levied on all Credit Card Transactions.

Terms and Conditions for Hire
**For MIAS courses and other riding experiences a 50% deposit is required, this will be forfeited if their part in the activity is cancelled within 10 working days of the activity start date.
